I totally made today my bitch.
I’m uploading Thanksgiving pics, but while I’m waiting, I just have to tell you all how much I made today my bitch!
A) Shipped the 188 HMM packages that I packaged yesterday.
B) Shipped another 10 International packages at the Post Office.
C) Purchased stamps & mailed Christmas cards! (yes..it’s November 26th )
D) Went with Muffy & 2-Carat Princess to the fancy mall to search for that jacket that has eluded me.
E) FOUND the jacket!
F) BOUGHT the jacket!
G) Rubbed and kissed the jacket.
H) Had a yummy lunch.
I) Bought a slate cheese platter that I’ve been coveting from Crate & Barrel. It will go under the tree for moi.
J) Everything I tried on fit. I cannot express the sheer bliss that comes with that!
K) Decided that buying shit just because it fits and not because I love it is probably not my best shopping strategy.
L) Put some shit back.
M) Found a pair of red booties at Bloomingdales on sale and DID NOT BUY THEM!!
N) Did some Cyber-Monday shopping and got some incredible deals.
O) Poured a glass of wine at 4pm to celebrate my productivity and ass-kicking.
I now have ALL… yes, ALL of my Christmas shopping done with the exception of stocking stuffers and the occasional (and inevitable) drunk late-night online purchase. Otherwise, I’m GOLDEN!

You are killing me. I have never shopped this early, much less been almost done. Thanks to you and these types of posts, I am 65% finished. Cards are ordered and I might even mail them. You have guilted me into a better holiday person. I even made a fucking spreadsheet…I don’t know how to do spreadsheets!!!

Too funny. This post just made my day. Love the jacket! Woo for you. I went to my Bloomies yesterday and got a hot lace dress for my sister-in-law’s New Year’s Eve wedding ON SALE and ON SALE AGAIN…AND went for my annual lady doctor appointment, so maybe I made yesterday my bitch too? I think I’ll try to make today my ho….

That literally sounds like the most perfect day ever. I had tears in my eyes. I don’t know the last freaking time i went shopping for ME or without 5 kids. I’m going to re-read this and pretend it was me.
