Listen.. I know I am the shittiest blogger in history right now, And I’m sorry. I really am. And if you are on my Facebook or Twitter, you are probably soo fracking sick of hearing about the Million MILF March, you want to block me.
And I totally get that.. for realz…
But to be honest… I am all MMM all the time. And I probably will be for the next several weeks. I get up at 6am, turn on the laptop, and turn it off around 10 pm. In between, I’m marketing and soliciting and whoring. Oh, and watching the Olympics. And not eating. And letting the kids have unlimited time on the iPad, Wii, and DS (which NEVER happens at my house) just so they will leave me alone.
I am overwhelmed. I am stressed out. I am excited. I am proud. I am getting an ulcer.
It’s going to be fine. It’s going to be better than fine. It’s going to be great. Really really great.
Do you know that there are people…. HMM readers… coming to New Orleans from Canada? Well, there are!! Canada and Maine and Michigan and Washington State. Indiana and Illinois and Michigan and Georgia. One crazy woman (my new favorite, by the way) is DRIVING to Louisiana from California and picking up a friend in Texas on the way!!
There are more states. There are more people. It is awesome. Seriously awesome. And overwhelming. Have I mentioned that it’s overwhelming? Well, it is.
Add to that that it takes place on my 40th birthday. Which will be wonderful. But also means that the last days of my 30′s are going by in a blur of logistics and a haze of solicitations.
So, I’m asking you…. please be patient with me. Give me a month. If something funny happens, I will write about it. If something moves me, I will write about it. If When someone or something totally pisses me off, I will write about it. But between those events… all you’ll hear from me is MMM whoring on Facebook and Twitter. (and no, I still don’t know how to use Twitter. Or Pinterest)
Don’t give up on me! Don’t leave! Don’t stop voting. Don’t move on to cooler, skinnier, taller, tanner blogs. They’ll never love you like I do
