A birthday week is upon us

At Chez HMM, we celebrate birthdays with a week of birthday activities.  Number Two’s 9th birthday is this Saturday.  Since this is the week for standardized testing in Florida, we cannot go rogue with mid-week celebrations.  What to do? What to do?  I know!  I’ll go totally overboard on activities and overbook us for the weekend!

So..  FCAT ends Thursday.   Our next few days go a little something like this:

• Thursday night- dinner with 4 other families and then to see The Lion King (Broadway version, not screen)
• Friday- play hookey and spend the day at LegoLand with his 2 best friends and their families.
• Saturday- 8 hour deep sea fishing trip with our family and my dad followed by dinner at a restaurant on the beach that will cook our catch for us.
• Sunday- brunch.

I’m exausted just thinking about it but so excited for my big boy…

Oh, and he’s getting the things I told him he would never get!! Woot woot!
